Josh Rice is the Head of Agriculture Lending at X-Caliber Agri-Lending. He leads production agriculture and agribusiness lending, with a focus on relationship-based credit solutions for producers, processors, and rural enterprises. He works with borrowers to structure financing that supports growth, resiliency, and long-term farm viability.
Mr. Rice brings extensive experience in agriculture and government guaranteed lending. Prior to joining X-Caliber Agri-Lending, he served as Vice President, Business Development Officer at First Bank of the Lake, where he developed and lead the bank’s lending efforts in agriculture and rural business clients. Before that, he spent nearly nine years at Live Oak Bank, advancing from Assistant Vice President, Loan Closer to Vice President, Senior Loan Officer, Agriculture, with responsibility for originating, structuring, and closing agriculture loans.
Mr. Rice earned an Associate’s degree in Business from Axia College of the University of Phoenix and a Technical Degree in Automotive Mechanics from Universal Technical Institute.
