Xavier Canfin

Xavier Canfin is an economics major at Tufts University and a member of the Tufts varsity soccer team. Originally from Tarrytown, NY, Xavier graduated from Irvington schools before joining the Tufts community.

On campus, Xavier is actively involved in the Tufts Investment Banking Club, a selective group focused on preparing underclassmen for careers in investment banking. His long-term career aspirations include breaking into investment banking and potentially transitioning into private equity.

This summer, Xavier is eager to gain hands-on experience in commercial real estate and deepen his understanding of the financial industry. Outside the classroom and soccer field, he enjoys spending time with friends and teammates, hiking and walking with his dog, and exploring the New England area on road trips.

Something most people don’t know: Xavier is fluent in French and conversational in Spanish and am taking French and Spanish classes at Tufts. He also loves listening to all different types of music, like dance, rap, indie, and pop.
