Managing Director, Carin Gutchall is the Managing Director, Origination at X-Caliber, where she specializes in FHA-insured financing for multifamily and senior housing properties. She delivers tailored financing strategies to clients across the company’s platforms and affiliate lenders, with a strong focus on FHA executions for both market-rate and affordable housing projects.

Carin has more than 20 years of HUD experience, including her previous role as Chief Underwriter for X-Caliber’s FHA platform. Her expertise spans the full range of MAP and LEAN programs, including new construction, substantial rehabilitation, acquisition, refinance, and LIHTC transactions. She works closely with borrowers to structure complex deals and navigate regulatory requirements with efficiency and accuracy.

Before joining X-Caliber in 2018, Carin held senior underwriting roles at Berkeley Point Capital and Oppenheimer Multifamily Housing & Healthcare Finance.

She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business from the University of Indiana.
