Amanda Samai has over 25 years of investment management experience and has been active in the PACE markets since 2013. Prior to joining CastleGreen, Amanda was Managing Director-Head of Capital Markets at Counterpointe Sustainable Real Estate. Before that, she held various portfolio management roles at insurance/reinsurance companies and pension funds, including Partner Reinsurance Company. For nearly 12 years Ms. Samai was a Managing Director in their Principal Finance Group where she originated, structured, and closed private debt transactions. It was during her time at PartnerRe that she became familiar with PACE and worked on several transactions to provide investment capital to PACE assessment originators. Amanda’s years of investment experience are primarily focused on structured finance/private debt investing and prior to her time at PartnerRe she was an ABS/CMBS Portfolio Manager at the Teacher Retirement System of Texas, and an Assistant Vice President in the Structured Finance group at MBIA, Inc. She started her career in audit at Deloitte and holds a CPA (inactive) license in the state of New York.
Ms. Samai holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Fairfield University.
