In his role as Sales Analyst, Mr. Neal is responsible for coordinating, tracking, and supporting the rapidly growing bridge and FHA sales transaction pipelines. He conducts preliminary loan analyses and works with clients on due diligence collection and assists with deal packaging and submission to the underwriting teams. In addition, he also supports the origination team in new business initiatives and research activities.
Prior to X-Caliber, Mr. Neal was Senior Analyst at Walker and Dunlop where he oversaw the engagement, underwriting, and closing of FHA, Government Sponsored Agency (GSE), and structured seniors housing transactions. Prior to that, he was an accountant in the audit and assurance department for Marcum Accounting and Advisors, a top public accounting firm where he executed audit engagements of private and public companies across a variety of industries in accordance with U.S. GAAP and PCAOB regulations.
Mr. Neal began his career as a financial reporting accountant at Trustmark Insurance where he prepared statutory and GAAP financial reports for numerous companies with combined assets of more than $2B. In this role he also performed consolidation and analysis of financial statements for senior management and collaborated with external auditors during annual statutory and GAAP audit processes for five insurance companies.
Mr. Neal has a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of Notre Dame and is an MBA Candidate at Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business.
