Jeff Deines is the Vice President, Special Assets, at X-Caliber. In this role, Mr. Deines is responsible for managing the special assets portfolios of X-Caliber and its affiliate companies. He brings more than 20 years of experience in restructuring, workouts, bankruptcy, and distressed asset management and disposition.
Prior to joining X-Caliber, Mr. Deines was a Senior Asset Manager at a distressed private equity firm, where he managed a large portfolio of complex and distressed credits. Before that, he practiced law in the private sector, focusing on commercial bankruptcy, restructuring, and workout matters.
Mr. Deines earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration–Finance from the University of Kansas and a Juris Doctor from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles.
