Lawrence Zucker is a Vice President, Origination, at X-Caliber. In this role, he provides analysis and processing support for both the Multifamily Accelerated Processing (MAP) and healthcare LEAN underwriting teams throughout the transaction, processing, and closing stages. Mr. Zucker’s deep underwriting and technical expertise enable him to support X-Caliber’s multifamily and healthcare production efforts while helping optimize internal loan sizing and credit models.
Prior to joining X-Caliber, Mr. Zucker worked in Credit Assets at Arbor Residential Mortgage and as a Senior Analyst on the Mortgage-Backed Securities (MBS) Trading Desk at Nomura Securities. In these roles, he conducted due diligence for the acquisition of performing and nonperforming loans, assisted with the implementation and management of servicing platforms, and provided trade support for residential and commercial loan acquisition, warehousing, and securitization activities.
Mr. Zucker has also held roles at Xerox and PwC/Mellon HR Solutions, where he implemented and managed benefits platforms for Fortune 500 health and welfare clients. He also worked at mGage as a Technical Program Manager, managing relationships with major customers as well as carrier and partner organizations.
Mr. Zucker earned a Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems from Binghamton University. He has completed the Mortgage Bankers Association’s (MBA) FHA Multifamily Underwriter Training Program and is working toward obtaining his MAP underwriter designation.
