Mr. Spachman has more than 15 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry, with a strong focus on originating and underwriting a wide variety of structured loans including bridge, Commercial Property Assessed Clean Energy (C-PACE), CMBS, and distressed debt.
In his current role as Executive Director at CastleGreen Finance, an affiliate of X-Caliber, he is responsible for originating all of X-Caliber’s products with a focus on Commercial Property Assessed Clean Energy (C-PACE) financing.
Prior to joining CastleGreen, Mr. Spachman led western region origination efforts for Bedrock Capital and Counterpointe Sustainable Real Estate. He has also held various positions at Berkadia/ Capmark (formerly GMACCM) in underwriting, originations, and asset management.
Mr. Spachman earned a degree from Bucknell University as well as an MBA and Master of Science in Information Science from Boston University.
Prior to his real estate career, Mr. Spachman served as a Captain in the United States Army serving for four years as an Artillery Officer.
