Timothy Deegan is the Managing Director, Originations at X-Caliber. Mr. Deegan structures and originates HUD-insured, bridge, and mezzanine financing for multifamily properties nationwide. He guides capital stacks for market-rate and affordable housing from concept to close.

Mr. Deegan brings more than 40 years in commercial real estate and has closed billions in transactions across the multifamily lifecycle. His representative work includes a $72MM affordable housing refinance in Elmsford, New York, and a HUD 221d4 acquisition rehabilitation for an affordable Section 8 community in Kentwood, Michigan.

Prior to X-Caliber, Mr. Deegan served at The Community Preservation Corporation as Managing Director and earlier as Vice President and Head of HUD Lending and Originations. He also held leadership roles at Cosmopolitan Capital Funding and Llenrock Group, with earlier lending roles at Bank of America, Pinnacle Financial, Southern Trust Mortgage, Clear Point Funding, First Home Mortgage, and Sears Mortgage.

Mr. Deegan earned a B.A. in Government and Politics from the University of Maryland and graduated from the Delbarton School.
