John Wells has three decades of experience in real estate and finance across many notable banks and institutions. As Managing Director, Origination, he is responsible for providing a wide and growing range of capital solutions including, but not limited to, multifamily, seniors housing and healthcare, hospitality, and rural business.
Prior to joining X-Caliber, Mr. Wells worked at T. Rowe Price where he was responsible for securitized credit trading. Prior to that, he was a Senior Portfolio Manager at BankBoston.
During his tenured career, he has also worked in fixed-income sales with Bear Stearns and Morgan Stanley. He began his career with Government Sponsored Enterprise Fannie Mae, where he managed their interest rate risk management group.
Mr. Wells attended Denison University where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in economics before receiving his MBA from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University.
