Lawrence Zucker is a Vice President in X-Caliber’s Underwriting Division. In this role, he provides analysis and processing functions for both the Multifamily Accelerated Processing (MAP) and healthcare Lean underwriting teams throughout the transaction processing and closing stages. Mr. Zucker’s deep underwriting and technical skills have enabled him to not only support X-Caliber’s multifamily and healthcare production, but to also assist with optimizing existing internal loan sizing and credit models.
Prior to join X-Caliber, Mr. Zucker worked at Arbor Residential Mortgage in Credit Asset and at Nomura Securities as a Senior Analyst on the Mortgage-Backed Securities (MBS) Trading Desk. In these two prior roles, Mr. Zucker conducted due diligence for the acquisition of performing and non-performing loans, assisted in implementation and management of servicing platforms, and managed trade support for both residential and commercial loan acquisitions, warehousing, and securitization activities.
Mr. Zucker has also held roles at Xerox and PwC/Mellon HR Solutions where he implemented and managed benefit platforms for their Fortune 500 Health and Welfare clients as well as worked at mGage as a Technical Program Manager working for multiple, major customers and carrier/partner relationships.
Mr. Zucker graduated from Binghamton University with a Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems. He has completed the Mortgage Bankers Association’s (MBA) FHA Multifamily Underwriter Training program and is working towards obtaining his MAP underwriter designation.
